La Piazza was born in 1990 in Cannes. This chic brasserie is part of the culinary heritage of the city of cinema. Throughout its history, it has welcomed many leisure and conference tourists and has gained the loyalty of many Cannes residents.

2021 marked a turning point with a renewal brought about by new management. The Piazza has regained its former glory in less than 2 years after a successful renovation and rebirth.

The establishment is currently looking for new talent to support its rapid development.

Runner

Under the supervision of the head waiter, the waitress helps set up the restaurant, set the tables, clean the floors and do various preparation tasks.
During service, he helps by arranging the bread and butter, clearing away the food and performing some service tasks as directed by his manager. He goes back and forth between the kitchen and the dining room. At the end of service, he helps clear the tables and tidy up the dining room.

Main activities

  • Ensures the cleanliness of the room and restaurant equipment: cleaning, puttingty of glasses and cutlery

  • Set up the restaurant room according to the established seating plan. Tablecloth and set the tables

  • Sets up the equipment required for the service and takes care of supplies

  • During service, takes care of the customers' cloakroom, serves dishes and ensures that the customer does not lack anything (bread, butter, etc.) and takes care of clearing away during service

  • May be required to take the order and guide the customer's choice

  • After service, clear the tables, move the setting up for the next service, put away the service equipment

  • Respects commitments to the environment


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

This service profession requires the following human qualities:

  • Knowledge of technical gestures related to implementation and service tasks

  • Knowledge of materials and products (also vocabulary)

  • Knowledge of rules of service and precedence

  • Address (delivery of dishes, trays, plates)

  • Knowledge and compliance with food hygiene and safety rules (HACCP)

  • Excellent presentation and impeccable personal hygiene

  • Customer oriented attitude

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Respect for hierarchy
